Ingredients:

  • 200g Chuckling Cheese Black Pepper Cheddar

  • 1 Sheet Shortcrust Pastry

  • 4 Eggs

  • 200ml Double Cream

  • 100g Small Plum Tomatoes

  • 100g Spinach

  • 150g Ham

  • Salt & Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.

  2. Line a quiche dish with the sheet of shortcrust pastry, ensuring it is evenly covered. Cut around the edge of the dish to form a neat crust.

  3. In a large bowl mix the eggs, cream, seasonings, and grated Chuckling Cheese Black Pepper Truckle to create your quiche mixture.

  4. Chop up the plum tomatoes, spinach, and ham. Add this to the quiche mixture, making sure everything is well combined.

  5. Pour the mixture into your lined pastry dish and sprinkle some extra Black Pepper Cheese on top. Make sure to leave 1/2 an inch from the top of the crust so that when baking it does not overflow.

  6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and a knife comes out mostly clean.

  7. Cut into 12 slices and enjoy this tasty dish either warm or cold!
