Cheesy Cinnamon Swirls


You might have tried the sweet version, but these savoury cinnamon swirls are on a different level! Using our limited Edition Christmas Pudding Cheddar, that has been laced with mixed fruit, cinnamon and a splash of brandy to deliver the perfect festive treat!

Ingredients:

  • 200g Chuckling Christmas Pudding Cheddar

  • 150g soft cheese

  • 1 Sheet of pre rolled puff pastry

  • Cinnamon seasoning

  • 100g Mixed dried fruit

  • 1 Egg (to wash)


Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and evenly spread the soft cheese over the entire sheet.

  3. Sprinkle over mixed fruit and cinnamon then the majority of the grated Christmas Pudding Cheddar.

  4. Form the swirl by rolling up the pastry to form a log shape, once rolled cut into 6 even slices and place compactly into a baking dish.

  5. Apply an egg wash and sprinkle over the remaining cheese, place in the oven according to instructions of pastry, or until golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before indulging into them!
