Our Chuckling Cheese MetroCentre Store first opened back in October 2020. The store is located in the lower blue section of the MetroCentre, Gateshead, NE11 9YG.

This store features our entire cheese truckle and cheddar barrel ranges, as well as cheese accompaniments to pair with them such as our Chuckling Chutneys and Chuckling Cheese Biscuits. Within the store you can discover the tastiest, unique foods in the North East from creamy Lincolnshire Cheddars, to our range of flavoured British Pork Scratchings, Pickled Onions and our new range of Chuckling Chunky Cookies. If you’re looking for a gift, we’ve got something for every occasion, choose from a budget friendly cheese gift box or a luxury hamper for a little more indulgence.

We now offer a delicious selection of baked goods which are as delightful as they sound. Our Cookie Pies and Deluxe Cookies come in a variety of flavours from Biscoff to White Bueno. You can enjoy these with a coffee and eat them in store, enjoy them as a takeaway or even order them on JustEat. Having gone viral on TikTok, you’ll have to be quick! Our array of confectionery also includes fudge, sweets and cakes.

You might be wondering ‘eat in store’? Yes! We have a Chuckling Cheese Cafe in store! We have a full menu of hot drinks and hot or cold food options from grilled sandwiches, to graze boxes and pastries.
