Rules

1. To enter a competition you must be:
   1. UK resident; and
   2. 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
2. Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of The Chuckling Cheese Co.
3. Entries must be made via the method/s stipulated in the competition instructions.
4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason.
5. The winner will be the entrant(s) selected by a judge or at random.
6. The closing date is as specified in each competition, and The Chuckling Cheese reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
7. If you win a competition, we will notify you by direct message, telephone or e-mail. If we cannot contact you or you do not respond within one week, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another competition entrant.
8. The prize cannot be transferable to another person.
9. No prize or part of a prize is exchangeable for cash.
10. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize.
11. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
12. Any competitions posted on social media are in now way endorsed by Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. As such participants, by entering this competition, completely release all social media sites from any liability to the participant arising from or as a result of participant’s participation in this competition.
13. Any competition posted on more than one network is classed as one competition.
14. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent
15. Chuckling Cheese reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. We may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this, we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
